When the attacks happened, I was too young to understand. I knew something was wrong, judging by the chaos in my preschool class, but even then I sat there and cried. Eleven years later, I fully understand what and why this happened. My heart and 100% full respect goes out to any innocent person involved in these attacks, anyone who lost a life to save another, etc. We lost a piece of sunshine that day that we’ll never get back. But by staying and sticking together as a country, we can recover, but never forget.
